研究兴趣

具体的研究方向包括

研究方向1:Scan2BIM+AI(LiDAR三维扫描BIM自动建模/ AR 增强现实/ AI人工智能)在建筑施工,建筑物和基础设施管理(高层建筑,道路,桥梁,地下管网,雨/污水基础设施等)中的应用和探索,包括但不限于:

·         基于图像的快速三维重建算法开发 Image-Based 3D Reconstruction

·         基于点云的自动建筑信息建模 Point Cloud-Based BIM Modeling

·         基于3D投影/AR的施工工艺工法模拟与劳动力培训 AR/VR in Construction Simulation

研究方向2:Housing and Community Development (住房与城市社区发展)主要考虑:

·         Disadvantaged Communities

·         Equity

·         New Energy

·         Affordable Housing

 

学校介绍:北卡罗来纳农工州立大学 (North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University,缩写为NCAT),创建于1891年,是一所美国著名的公立研究型大学。此外它还是美国学生人数最多的传统黑人大学 (HBCU)。该校是美国航天局主要合作伙伴之一,同时也是为国内少数民族在科学、数学、工程和技术等理科领域提供大量人才。

导师介绍

蒋雨含 博士,助理教授

Dr. Yuhan Jiang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Built Environment at North Carolina A&T State University. Previously, Dr. Jiang worked as an Assistant Professor at South Dakota State University for one year. He has a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from Marquette University (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Construction Management from Guangzhou University.

Dr. Jiang's current research focuses on artificial intelligence (AI) in architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO), including robotics and remote sensing-based data collection, computer vision and machine learning-based data processing, as well as BIM, GIS, and AR/VR-based data visualization, to enable more efficient and effective construction operations, building inspection, and infrastructure management.

Additionally, Dr. Jiang has extensive experience in community redevelopment planning and complex systems simulation. His prior research investigated the formation mechanisms of urban villages and developed a system dynamics model to simulate different redevelopment strategies for sustainable urbanization.
